Laura Ripley Timmons of Vintage Moon Creations™ has designed her entire life and has created jewelry professionally for the past ten years, selling her unique designs both nationally and internationally. Her passion for color and design is obvious in each of her unusual creations. Vintage Moon Creations is a mix of old and new, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind and "Unique as the Moon and Stars Themselves".
In most recent years, Laura has developed a new passion that feeds her soul: teaching - which incorporates her love for both people and design.
Laura is a "Create Your Own Style with Swarovski Elements" ambassador, and travels the world teach her unique creations and techniques. Whether teaching in such faraway places such as Bangkok, Chaing Mai, Toronto, Mexico City, and Guadalahara or in her own backyard, Laura incorporates both her love of people and her love for the industry. She has also provided consulting and design projects for Swarovski's DIY (Do-it-Yourself), Marketing, and Interior Design segments.
Laura is a published designer as well, and is currently working on many exciting new projects. Look for her "Fashion 411" segment in the Bead Unique magazine published bi-monthly...."your 911 to the 411". She has many exciting opportunities to participate in her classes or see her product but going to the Events page - Note especially her signature Crystal Chix! beading cruise in November which she hosts with Lisa Pavelka.
Laura lives in Leawood, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City with her two daughters Chelsea, age 22 and Rachel, age 16. Laura enjoys traveling, running, and shopping with her girls.
